In September 2023, WindowRama began exploring Paradigm Vendo to tackle the inefficiencies in their install division’s sales process. By March 2024, they had successfully launched their Paradigm Vendo platform. The initial rollout included training sessions and a phased approach to ensure smooth adoption. Before Paradigm Vendo, WindowRama’s sales process was cumbersome and time-consuming. Salespeople used laptops to generate quotes, which involved multiple steps and manual data entry. This often led to errors and inefficiencies.

Salespeople in the install division at WindowRama used laptops and iPads to access portals for Andersen or MI Windows and Doors, generate quotes, and manually enter data into a workbook to create prices. This process was time-consuming and had to be repeated for every quote, resulting in an average turnaround time for measures of 12-14 days.

The lengthy process led to lower close rates for sales and fewer installations booked. Additionally, using laptops for presentations was cumbersome, causing customers to focus more on price shopping rather than the product itself.

Live Pricing Catalogs, Reducing Errors, Saving Time

Paradigm Vendo significantly improved the quoting process for WindowRama by integrating live pricing catalogs and automating many of the manual steps. This not only reduced errors but also saved time, allowing salespeople to focus more on customer interactions. The user-friendly interface and iPad compatibility made it easier for salespeople to present quotes and engage with customers.

In summer 2024, Paradigm Vendo released the Second Measure Module, a post-sale feature that allows measure techs to return to the home to finalize accurate measurements and unit information, helping to reduce mis-ordering. This module is a standard feature offered by Paradigm Vendo after a successful setup.

Since implementing Paradigm Vendo, WindowRama has achieved significant improvements in profitability and turnaround times. The streamlined quoting and ordering system has led to faster turnaround times and increased customer satisfaction. Specifically, the turnaround time for measures improved dramatically from 12-14 days to just 2-3 days. This improvement has helped WindowRama meet its goal of turning jobs within 5 days and delivering products to customers faster.

Additionally, the team has experienced fewer errors and a more efficient workflow, contributing to overall enhanced performance.
